Sikkim is well-known for Kanchenjunga Mountain which is situated at an elevation of 8585 m and is the 3rd highest mountain of the world. This tour gives an opportunity to visit the eastern part of India and its rich diversity.     Day 1
    NJP Railway station /Bagdogra Airport - Gangtok (124 Kms / 4 hrs)

    Today arrival at Bagdogra airport/NJP railway station. Upon arrival you will be met by Indo Royal Holidays Representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Gangtok. Arrival at the hotel. Check-in and relax at the hotel. Evening free for leisure activities or you can choose to explore the area on your own, especially the well-known M.G Marg. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 2
    Gangtok Local Sightseeing: Tsongmo Lake | Baba Mandir | Nathu La (Optional)

    Today in the morning after having breakfast, we proceed to visit beautiful Tsongmo Lake. The oval lake is located at an altitude of 3,782 m at a distance of about 39 kms from Gangtok. Tsongmo Lake is dwelling to the Brahminy Duck and many other wandering birds. Enroute we will have a stop at Kyongnosla to view the beautiful alpine flowers. Then we proceed to visit the temple of Baba Harbhajan Singh (the war hero of Indo-China War) which is situated about 16 kms from the lake. After visiting the temple we proceed to visit Rumtek Monastery. Then we proceed to visit Nathu La Pass (if permit is available) After sightseeing return back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at hotel in Gangtok.

    Day 3
    Gangtok

    Today in the morning after having breakfast we proceed to visit Enchey Monastery. This Gompa is around 200 years old. The monks of this Gompa belong to the Mahayana Buddhism, Then we proceed to visit Research Institute of Tibetology situated on a hilltop which was built in the the year 1958 to promote research on Mahayana Buddhism and Tibet.. It exhibits a huge collection of Tibetan scripts and rare Tankhas, cult and bronze items. Then we proceed to visit orchid Sanctuary. This Sanctuary exhibits over 450 local species. Sikkim is a heaven for orchid lovers. After visiting the sanctuary we walk through the bazaars of Gangtok through the area of old palace and visit the Gyalwa Monastery.

    Day 4
    Gangtok - Darjeeling (about 100 km)

    Today in the morning after having breakfast we proceed to Darjeeling - manufacturer of world famous tea the hill resort developed by British. Arrival in Darjeeling and transferred to the hotel. Rest of the time free for leisure at the hotel and you can also wander around mall road in Darjeeling. Overnight stay at hotel in Darjeeling.

    Day 5
    Darjeeling: Local Sightseeing

    Today we start our day with a wonderful experience, we start in the early morning, at around 4 AM. Go up to the top of the Tiger Hill to experience the sunrise casting golden lights on Kanchenjunga. Afterwards we proceed to visit well-known Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Then we return back to the hotel and enjoy yummy breakfast. After sometime we proceed to visit other spots of Darjeeling like Japanese Temple, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, Tensing Rock, Lablong Village, Mountaineering Institute and Zoological Park. Overnight stay at hotel in Darjeeling.

    Day 6
    Darjeeling - Pelling (80 Kms / 3.5 hrs)

    Today in the morning after having breakfast we proceed to Pelling. In Pelling we visit Pemayangtse Monastery which is a Buddhist Monastery. Afterwards you will transferred to hotel in Pelling. Rest of the time free for leisure activities. You can enjoy beautiful views of Kanchenjunga range and wander around the local markets of the city. Overnight stay at hotel in Pelling.

    Day 7
    Pelling

    Today in the morning after having breakfast we start our sightseeing tour of Pelling. We visit Kanchenjunga falls, Khecheopalri Lake (a holy lake and a pilgrimage hub for all faiths which is also known as the wish fulfilling lake) & Rimbi Falls. Overnight stay at hotel in Pelling.

    Pelling - Bagdogra (about 80 km)

    Today in the morning after having breakfast you will be transferred to NJP Railway Station/ Bagdogra Airport (IXB), for onwards journey. (End of Our Services)
